About ecodisco
ecodisco originated as a sustainable concept party in June 2019, when we threw London’s first club night to remove all single-use plastics. In early 2020 ecodisco evolved from club night to consultancy and began to design scalable, affordable and measurable systems to remove single-use plastics and reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the UK events industry.
Through 2021 we were funded by Innovate UK to design and scale a reusable cup rental service alongside designing, producing and piloting a new reusable cup that we plan to launch later in 2022. From 2021 - 22 we have been commercially active supplying clients across the UK with reusable cups that we deliver, collect, wash and redeliver. So far we have prevented over 500,000 single-use cups from going to landfill or incineration.
ecodisco is pushing for a more environmentally and economically sustainable nightlife scene across urban spaces and music festivals.
